KHADI KHAAS
|
Khadi was first used by Gandhiji as a weapon against British. Khadi is known as the fabric of freedom, fabric, of revolution or attitude. It has breathability, its feel and texture works in its favour. Thanks to designers, giving it a modern touch, that khadi is no longer seen as a poor man’s cloth. The designers have gone a step ahead to reintroduce khadi to make it more acceptable, by adopting organic and eco friendly fabrics. The same khadi has emerged as style statement of youngsters. Khadi yarns are blended with silk and cottonto make it smoother. There are 108 different typesof khadi woven in India. Khadi is everywhere on the ramp, red carpet, in bollywood movies etc.
(Our soothing collection of khadi is paired with block printing and painting to make it pleasing for our eyes. Designers have introduced long jackets, trousers, fitted tubes, jhodhpuri pants, tunics, shrugs, skirt, palazzos, etc. Fashions paired with cultural values of India are depicted in this collection.
